The Portrait Assembly, our 2026 SALA exhibition
Pulteney Grammar School is delighted to invite Old Scholars and members of the Pulteney community to submit work for consideration in The Portrait Assembly, our 2026 SALA exhibition.
The Portrait Assembly explores portraiture in its broadest sense. We welcome submissions in any medium, including painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, textiles, digital media and mixed media. Whether your work captures a likeness, explores identity, tells a personal story, or reimagines what a portrait can be, we would love to see it.
At this stage, we are seeking expressions of interest for the exhibition’s curatorial selection process. To be considered, please submit:
- A clear photograph of the artwork
- Title
- Medium
- Dimensions
- Year completed
- Sale price (if applicable)
- A brief artist statement (optional)
Selected artists will be contacted following the review process with further details regarding artwork delivery and exhibition requirements.
The exhibition will open on Thursday 6 August as part of the South Australian Living Artists (SALA) Festival and will bring together works from current students, staff, Old Scholars and invited artists in a celebration of portraiture and creative practice across the Pulteney community.
We look forward to seeing your work.
