Pulteney Year 12s exceptional 2021 SACE results

We are delighted to share the academic achievements of Pulteney’s Year 12 students, with the Class of 2021 achieving the following outstanding highlights:

  • 100% of students achieved their SACE
  • 4% of students achieved an ATAR of 99 or above (top 1% nationally)
  • 25% of students achieved an ATAR of 95+ or above (top 5% nationally)
  • 48% achieved A Band results
  • Median ATAR score: 87
  • 20 Merits achieved by 16 students across 14 subjects

Special mention must go to Dux of the School Piero Jaksa, who achieved an ATAR 99.90 and Merits in Chemistry and Physics. For the first time in our School’s long history, we have joint Proxime Accessit recipients, with Samuel de Jong and Jeremy Ninio both attaining an ATAR of 99.75. Jeremey was also awarded Merits for Digital Technologies and Research Project B.

The Governor of South Australia Commendation Award recognises not only excellence in Year 12 SACE subjects but also students who have used their personal qualities to make a difference in their local communities. We are honoured to have Anna Champion (ATAR 99.55) achieve this prestigious award. Anna also achieved five Merits (Legal Studies, English Literary Studies, General Mathematics, Modern History and Research Project B).
