Pulteney Recognised with the 2025 National ACEL Leadership Award

Pulteney Grammar School is proud to be recognised with the 2025 National ACEL Leadership Award for our ongoing partnership in the University of Melbourne’s New Metrics for Success research and practice initiative.

This award acknowledges exceptional educational leadership that creates measurable impact for students and colleagues. ACEL’s recognition highlights Pulteney’s role in advancing the New Metrics work, including validating assessments, strengthening learner agency, and contributing to a scalable national system for recognising student capabilities.

Programs such as AMPlify, ACTivate, Creative Industries, Service Learning, Experiential Learning and our year level immersion programs are examples of the work we are doing to build Pulteney’s systems for recognising student capabilities. These initiatives reflect ACEL’s vision for future-focused leadership, demonstrating how research and practice can work together to drive meaningful and lasting improvement.

We are honoured to receive this award, which not only celebrates our impact here at Pulteney but also our contribution to shaping a more equitable, future-ready education system across Australia.
