Pulteney signs as Academy school with Adelaide 36ers

Principal Cameron Bacholer is proud to announce Pulteney Grammar School as an Official Adelaide 36ers Academy School for the next three years.

Pulteney will be designated as the Foundation Adelaide 36ers Academy School and will have access to the club’s resources and knowledge throughout the school year for both the girls’ and boys’ basketball programs.

Along with the sessions for the students, the School will gain access to leadership speaking events, gameday experiences and coach education. The partnership also includes Adelaide 36ers player visits, Junior and Middle School clinics and work experience opportunities for Pulteney students.

This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to benefit from the expertise of the Adelaide 36ers. Our Year 10 students are already involved in the 36ers and XVenture Schools Program and this partnership further strengthens our connection and the opportunities for students.

Adelaide 36ers chief executive officer Nic Barbato said the club is equally excited for the opportunities the partnership with Pulteney will bring both parties, saying that “This is an exciting opportunity for the club to partner with one of South Australia’s most prestigious schools to provide knowledge and expertise to elevate the Pulteney Grammar basketball program”.

The three-year agreement starts in 2023 and has the mutual option to extend beyond and until 2027.

The 36ers and Pulteney are both woven into the fabric of Adelaide and it is tremendous to be able to launch this partnership.
