State-of-the-Art Science Lab on the Way

The refurbishment of one of the School’s most utilised science laboratories is underway and is the first step in a broader vision to transform Pulteney’s science facilities.

Thanks to the generosity of the school community through the 2024 Annual Giving Campaign, along with major contributions from The Pulteney Foundation and a capital grant from the South Australian State Government, new learning environments will soon be built to support the School’s outstanding science curriculum.

Nadia Maglica, Director of Teaching and Learning, shared her enthusiasm for the next phase of the project.

“The new facilities will see no limits to what we can do in the classroom. The new laboratory will accommodate students from the junior school through to Year 12, across all disciplines of science. We want an environment that supports the best in modern science teaching pedagogy, spaces that empower our students to think critically, collaborate, and investigate,” Nadia Maglica.

In partnership with Matthews Architects and Harrold & Kite builders, the refreshed laboratory will offer increased flexibility and functionality to cater for students across all year levels.
