Uniform Shop
At Pulteney Grammar School, our uniform represents more than just a dress code — it is a visible expression of pride, belonging and shared identity.
While we are currently transitioning to a new uniform, the ‘Navy Blue’ has long been the cornerstone of the Pulteney uniform and continues to be a defining element of our School’s visual identity. The Pulteney uniform connects our young people to the rich traditions and values of our community. Whether in the classroom, at co-curricular events, or out in the wider world, the uniform unites students across all year levels and backgrounds, fostering a strong sense of connection and mutual respect. For our students, wearing the Pulteney uniform is a daily reminder that they are part of something greater — a legacy of scholars, leaders, and innovators who carry our School’s reputation forward with pride.

Summer Uniform
As we approach Term 4 and the change of season, we share with you the Summer Uniform Guide for Pulteney’s summer uniform. The Summer Academic Uniform is worn during Terms 1 and 4.
Please note:
- Blazers are not required to be worn to and from school during Terms 1 and 4. They are required for formal assemblies and official occasions as directed by the Principal unless the forecast indicates a temperature of 35C or above.
- Students are not to wear the soft-shell jacket as part of the formal uniform either on or off campus.
- The short-sleeved summer shirt must be worn tucked in.
- No ties are required with formal summer uniform.
A reminder that students must refrain from wearing make-up, coloured nail polish and jewellery to School (necklaces may only be worn if of religious significance).

About the new uniform
In Term 1 2024, Pulteney introduced a new school uniform in partnership with Dobsons, a sustainable uniform supplier. Designed with input from students, parents, and staff, the new uniform reflects the School’s commitment to quality, comfort, inclusivity, and sustainability. It includes modern, eco-friendly options and greater choice for girls, such as academic shorts and pants. Pulteney is proud to be the first school in South Australia to lead this change. The new uniform will be mandatory for all students from Term 1, 2027.
