Pulteney Board of Governors Chair to Retire at End of 2025
Pulteney Grammar School announces that Mr David Reynolds, Chair of the Board of Governors, will retire from his role as Chair and as a member of the Board at the end of 2025.
Mr Reynolds has served on the Board for five years, including the past two as Chair, and said “It has been both a privilege and an honour to contribute to the governance of Pulteney Grammar School.”
Mr Reynolds also paid tribute to fellow Governor Mr Lorne McClurg, who will conclude his service at the end of the year after a decade of commitment.
“On behalf of the Board, I extend my sincere thanks to Lorne for his 10 years of service,including his leadership as Chair of the Strategic Capital Works Sub-Committee from 2019 to 2025.”
As part of this transition, the Board of Governors is seeking Expressions of Interest from members of the Pulteney community to join the Board. A broad range of skills are welcomed, with particular interest in expertise in strategy, finance, and education.
Expressions of Interest close at 5.00 pm on Friday 3 October 2025. Please note that the position of Chair is determined through an internal selection process by the Board.
