2025 Performing Arts Scholarship Application Form
Applications for 2025 Performing Arts Scholarships close 20 January 2024.
Performing Arts Scholarships are available for entry, usually, from Year 7.
Students awarded Performing Arts scholarships are provided unique opportunities to learn in an environment which is vibrant, multi-faceted, and strives for excellence.
Scholarship requirements can be viewed on the Scholarship page, beneath ‘Performing Arts Scholarship’.
This form should be accompanied by a report from the dance/drama/music tutors/teachers and a recent school report. Other references are welcome at the audition.
The audition will consist of the performance elements that correspond with the student’s main focus area and nominated secondary areas and skills. The audition will also be an opportunity for a general discussion about the performing arts interest of the student.
Audition Element: Performance [maximum 5 minutes]
Students may prepare any of the following. These are guides only; students may nominate interdisciplinary examples of performance in their application.
Performance examples:
Music:
Performance [Grade 6 AMEB approximate and above] on selected instrument.
Performance on selected main instrument [approximately 4 minutes] and secondary instrument [approximately 2 minutes].
Dance:
Two Dance routines in two different genres.
Musical dance + vocal number.
Drama:
Monologue.
Musical dance + vocal number.
Supporting documentation:
Supporting references from dance/drama/music tutors/teachers
Supporting references from the student’s current school principal, other leader or teacher
Copies of academic reports form the students current school especially the previous 2 years (maximum)
Copies of awards won and or certificates of achievement (AMEB exam certificate and feedback sheets, for example)
Highlight reel, maximum 3 minutes
