Year 12 Drama production ‘We Live by the Sea’

Katy wears orange on Thursdays, purple on Sundays, and eats three fish fingers for tea every day. She lives with her older sister, Hannah, and her imaginary dog, Paul Williams, and she’ll ask to tap your shoes before she can say hello. Their lives are filled with music, going to the beach, and watching Ant and Dec on the telly each week.
When newcomer Ryan moves to their quiet coastal town, their lives are changed in unexpected ways, and bonds are made than upends Katy’s regimented world. Even the most fearsome of dragons can be slain if you can be brave, and it’s more possible if you have someone fighting with you.
This is a playful and tender exploration of love, loss, personal triumph, and a very big wave. It’s a small show with a big heart.
