Applications should address the Specific Criteria and include a curriculum vitae and the contact details of three professional referees. Where relevant, one of these should be the applicant’s current employer.
This will be the basis of selection for short-listing. Brevity in applications is essential. At interview, short-listed candidates will be asked to demonstrate how well their professional abilities meet the General and Specific Criteria.
The school may require short-listed candidates to teach a demonstration lesson in a class relevant to the position.
In addition, all applicants must be registered, or be able to be registered, to teach in South Australia and have completed training in Mandatory Notification and Basic Casualty Care and evidence of this should be attached to your application. Non-teaching staff are required to have a National Police Check as well as Mandatory Notification.
