Q: How is my application for enrolment managed? +-A:
Registrations are managed in chronological order.
On receipt of the student application for enrolment, your child's details are added to the enrolments data base.
Confirmation in writing is forwarded upon receipt of the application.
Letters of offer are sent at the beginning of March two years prior to the year of entry.
Families are requested to pay a non-refundable enrolment fee at this time to accept the formal offer.
Payment of the enrolment fee confirms your child's place.
Further correspondence and invitations are sent during Term 3 & 4 the year prior to commencement.
Your child is invited to attend Orientation in November the year prior to entry and an Interview Day in January before the first day of School.

Q: Can I apply at any time? +-A:
Yes. Applications can be made at short notice. Places are offered as required where there are vacancies. Families sometimes transfer throughout the school year which result in vacancies.
-
Q: Can I change the requirements with my application? +-A:
Yes. Applications can be brought forward or deferred depending on your family needs. This does not affect your position on the wait list. Applications are ordered by the date they are received. However once on offer is made and accepted, a student is only able to defer for 1 year maximum before losing their place.
Placement can be made dependent on vacancies at the required year level.
-
Q: How will I know the status of my application? +-A:
The Registrar will keep you informed at all times upon request. This means it is prudent to call the Registrar on 8216 5555 if you require an update.
-
Q: Do I register for the Early Learning Centre and Reception? +-A:
Yes. Students register for the Early Learning Centre (as early as possible) to ensure placement and register for Reception at the same time.
Places for Reception are offered in March after students commence in the Early Learning Centre.
-
Q: Should I register as soon as possible for any year level? +-A:
Yes. Registrations are managed in chronological order therefore early registration provides the best opportunity for a place to be offered.
-
Q: What is the Entry Policy? +-A:
Pulteney Grammar School has a non selective entrance policy. All students who commence at Pulteney are tested at the beginning of their school year. Results of testing provide information for Heads of School and staff to know who requires extension or support.
