Co-Curricular Dance

Pulteney Grammar School is proud to introduce four new dance classes as part of the co-curricular offerings.

These groups are offered in the four sub-schools. Each class will involve students exploring a variety of dance styles, integrating appropriate dance techniques with learning choreography and exploring movement in a fun and exciting way. Pulteney has established a strategic partnership with South Australian Performing Arts Company, Ding Productions and their creative Director Ms Jo Casson. Ding Productions will facilitate these dance classes, with 32 sessions per year.

The four classes available are as follows:

Kurrajong Dance Tuesdays 3.30pm - 4pm Drama Theatrette
Prep Dance Mondays 3.45pm - 4.45pm Wyatt Hall
Middle School / Senior School #1 Wednesdays 3.45pm - 4.45pm Wyatt Hall
Middle School / Senior School #2 Thursdays 3.45pm - 4.45pm Wyatt Hall

Students in Middle School and Senior School can nominate for one or two MS/SS dance classes, but students need to nominate which class is their first option.

To nominate for these classes, please email the Learning Area Leader for Performing Arts at

Places in each dance class is limited to 25 students. We encourage students to be aware that these classes are set for the whole year. If a class is full but then has a casual vacancy through the year, a waiting list will be created to fill these vacancies.

For more information please contact Mr Jonathon Rice via the aforementioned email address, or phone 8113 5614.
