Cross Country and Rainbow Run

Cross Country was another huge success. We had a 98 per cent participation rate with all students completing a 2km course. There were those who ran as hard and fast as they could and others who took a more social approach to the event but equally it was great to see everyone involved in completing the course and earning points for their House.

Following Cross Country was the Rainbow Run. This was a fundraiser for SHINE SA.

This was a brilliant event, full of fun but importantly it raised awareness and funds for an important organisation that assists adolescents in SA.

NAPLAN

Today began the 2022 edition of NAPLAN. All Year 7 and 9 students are undertaking four tests this week, with make up opportunities available next week. Today was Reading, this will be followed by Writing, Conventions of Language and finally Numeracy.

NAPLAN is one snapshot of a learner’s progress in a point in time. It assists in forming an overall picture of a student when combined with our annual PAT testing, and regular class-based assessments.
