I’m Charlotte, but most people know me as Charli.
I began at Pulteney as a very short, nervous and excited Year 7 in 2014. Throughout my time at Pulteney, I’ve gotten slightly taller, and most importantly been welcomed into a vibrant, caring and kind community.
Over the last five years, I have thoroughly enjoyed immersing myself in the diverse range of opportunities available at Pulteney. I love playing the violin and can be identified by the bright blue turtle-shell-like violin case on my back. I also love to sing, and through these activities have developed strong relationships with students across various year levels, by participating in many choirs, string ensembles, string quartets and the school musical every year. Being involved in the school sports program, through playing softball, tennis and netball throughout my time at Pulteney, as well as being on various committees has also enabled me to feel very connected in such a wonderful school environment.
I’m incredibly grateful to have been presented with amazing opportunities throughout my schooling here, including extra-curricular programs and an international academic exchange. These have allowed me to develop myself as a person and connect with those around me.
I feel very honoured to be serving as School Captain alongside a fantastic group of school leaders in 2019, and I am lucky to also feel the support of a compassionate and inclusive cohort of Year 12 students.
I am very much looking forward to working further with the school community this year, to hopefully create an even more positive school environment.
