Congratulations to the Year 6 students for their performance at the Year 6 Music Morning Expo 4 September. The children showed great promise in bucket drumming, producing an amazing sound through strong beat and rhythm. The performance also included a creative dance choreographed by Imogen, Georgina and the Music leaders, a humorous skit by Kai and Hamish and a great hip hop robot dance executed by Quinn. Thank you to Sally Oxenberry, Prep School Music teacher, for providing the children with a creative and engaging Term 3 music program and for orchestrating such an innovative music performance.

Year 4 Morning Performance
“Set the stage, light the lights!” It’s showtime for our Year 4 students who will perform a mini-musical called ‘The Granny Awards’. In this show you will see a range of fairy tale characters coming together to celebrate the retirement of a very special Granny. However, there is trouble amongst the scene with some awards almost getting stolen. Luckily, the Fairy Godmother and Granny save the day, along with a whole team of characters. This show will be performed in the Chapel on Thursday, September 17, 8.45am. Further information will be communicated to parents regarding this event closer to the date.
Year 3 Morning Performance
Year 3 students have developed their auditory, motor and visual cortex areas of the brain by learning to play the recorder. In addition to their instrumental learning, the Year 3 students have further developed their great singing voices! All year 3 students will perform some of their recorder playing and choral singing skills in the Chapel on Thursday, September 24, 8.45am. Some solo acts have also been given the opportunity to perform at this event. Further information will be communicated to parents regarding this event closer to the date and we hope to see you there.
