Book Week ParadeWe look forward to celebrating the Book Week parade in the Robert Henshall Sports Centre on Thursday 27 August. The parade will commence at 8:45am and we welcome parents to join us for this annual special occasion. COVID-19 precautions and government restrictions require the School to ensure a maximum occupancy for the indoor venue equating to 1 person per 2sqm. As such, we are please asking that only one adult attends per family. In accordance with best practice to facilitate contact tracing, were it required, adults will be asked to sign into the Sports Centre prior to the commencement of the parade. Parents are encouraged therefore to arrive at 8:30am to complete the sign-in process. Adults will be required to stand to watch the parade and to observe appropriate social distancing practices. There will be hand sanitiser available on entry. The theme is Curious Creatures, Wild Minds but as always, students are welcome to dress up as their favourite book character.

Student Led Conferences

Student Led Conferences will be held for Reception-Year 2 students in Weeks 8 and 9, commencing on Monday 7 September through until Friday 18 September.   Student Led Conferences will take place in your child's classroom. In next week’s PRW, more information will be provided on how to book a time using the online booking system.

Kurrajong Assembly and Chapel Services

Parents and caregivers are welcome to attend Kurrajong Assemblies each Wednesday morning at 8.35am and Chapel Services on Thursdays at 1.20pm which are held in the School Chapel. We ask that you please sign in at the entrance and practice social distancing. Extra seating is available upstairs and hand sanitiser will also be provided at the door.

Pulteney Storybook Series

Each Friday we will be sharing a storybook online read by one of our Pulteney staff members or students. Storytelling helps to build connections among people and improves listening skills that are essential in learning and in relationships. We hope your family enjoys listening to the books selected each week by members of our school community. This week you can view Head of Inclusive Education Karen Kurczak share a book titled ‘Green Eggs and Ham’ by Dr Suess HERE.
