Parent Teacher Student Meetings - Years 7 to 12

During this term, you will have the opportunity to schedule a meeting with your child’s subject teachers where information regarding student progress will be discussed in greater detail. Students are encouraged to attend the Parent Teacher Student Meetings and participate in the discussion about their learning across a variety of curriculum areas.

In keeping with Covid-19 safe guidelines and to minimise risk to the School community, Parent Teacher Student Meetings will again take place online via video conferencing using Microsoft Teams. In light of parent feedback received through the survey, Parent Teacher Student Meetings are specifically scheduled for Monday 31 August and Tuesday 1 September (4.00 – 6.00pm each day) and Monday 7 September and Thursday 10 September (4.00 – 6.00pm each day). Important instructions regarding online Parent Teacher Student Meetings will be provided to parents closer to the meeting dates. All meetings are 10 minutes’ duration.

I am pleased to inform you that the Parent Teacher Student Meeting booking facility for Years 7 to 12 will open on Tuesday 18 August at 10.00am.

Year 7, 8 & 9 classes will be undertaking Student Led Conferences this term. They differ from the teacher-directed Parent/Teacher/Student meetings for Year 10, 11 & 12, as the student is actively involved in the process, reporting about their own learning. In Student Led Conferences students present their reflection on their learning to their parents and their teacher, allowing them to demonstrate their individual growth, strengths, areas for improvement and achievements that they are proud of.

If you would like to schedule a meeting with your child’s teachers, please access the Synergetic Community Portal link on the Pulteney website ( after the opening date.  Please use your personal access code (which will be emailed to you) to log into the system to make bookings with teachers.

Sessions in the first week are as follows:

Years 7 – 12 

Monday 31 August from 4.00 to 6.00pm

Tuesday 1 September from 4.00 to 6.00pm

The booking portal for these sessions will close Monday 24 August at 12 noon.

Sessions in the second week are as follows:

Years 7 – 12

Monday 7 September from 4.00 to 6.00pm

Thursday 10 September from 4.00 to 6.00pm

The booking portal for these sessions will close Monday 31 August at 12 noon.

In the event of a teacher being fully booked or if you are unable to attend the meeting sessions, parents are encouraged to contact their child’s teacher via the email links on the portal.

The Middle School and one ninety teachers look forward to meeting with you and your child later this term to formally discuss your child's progress.  However, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s Tutor or subject teacher should you have any queries about your child’s academic progress.
