Welcome to Reception Mirnu

During Kurrajong Chapel last week, the children from our Mid-Year Reception class received a certificate welcoming them to our Reception community. The students from RT and RK also prepared a welcome book and happy stones to share with their new cohort buddies. The RM students have settled in well and are getting to know each other.

Assemblies and Chapel Services

At this present time, parents are welcome to attend our weekly Chapel services. However, we ask that all parents use the upstairs space and observe social distancing by sitting one seat apart. Hand sanitiser will also be provided in the entry hall. With Kurrajong assemblies, we will be continuing to hold these in the under croft at 8.35am on Wednesday mornings. Parents are welcome to attend; however, we ask that you continue to maintain physical distancing between each other while observing. Thank you in anticipation.

Year 2 Excursion

On 7 August the Year 2 classes will be visiting the Adelaide Zoo to complement their inquiry into Rainforests. Please click HERE if you consent to your child joining the excursion.

Pulteney Storybook Series

Each Friday we share a storybook online read by one of our Pulteney staff members or Pulteney students. Storytelling helps to build connections among people and improves listening skills that are essential in learning and in relationships. We hope your family enjoys listening to the books selected each week by members of our school community. This week Vice-Captain Declan Beard will share a book titled ‘We're Going on a Bear Hunt’ by Michael Rosen. You can see the video here
