Year 3 String Program
I am pleased to announce that the Year 3 String Program will begin next week with twelve students: five on cello and seven on violin. After a lot of planning and effort, it is very exciting to get the funding and curricula support. I cannot wait to see how the children go! Perhaps we will see them all perform in a soiree later this year?
On Monday 1March at 6.00pm, we are pleased to present our Instrumental Come’n’Try evening where your children can meet our instrumental tutors and try out a musical instrument to see if they would like to pursue lessons. We will have on offer: trumpet, trombone, flute, saxophone, clarinet, drum kit, percussion (timpani, marimba), guitar, bass guitar, double bass, violin, viola and cello. Please register your interest here. I hope to see you then and explore what is available for your child in the wonderful Performing Arts program here at Pulteney. Please note, we will not be offering piano at this event.
On Saturday 27March, we will be presenting our annual Cabaret night in Wyatt Hall. This wonderful evening will show case our two stage bands, senior musicians (Henry Bradley, Ben Newman and Daniel Hassan) as well as Jazz on the Terrace and a couple of numbers from the staff ensemble. More details will come out soon about ticketing but for now please SAVE THE DATE!
