Q: How do I book Vacation Care? +-A:
Booking forms are available at a minimum, 5 weeks before the school holidays. They can either be collected at our OSHC room, or under the Vacation Care section of the website. Bookings must be made before the cut off date as listed on the front page of the form, otherwise bookings cannot be guaranteed and a $5 late fee per day will apply.

Q: What time does Vacation Care open and close? +-A:
Pulteney Vacation Care is licensed to open at 8:00am and you must remain with your child/ren until that time.
Our service is licensed until 6:00pm, it is recommended that you arrive before this time to allow for any required information from the day to be communicated, collect belongings and sign out.
If your child/ren are collected after 6:00pm, a $20 fee is incurred. After 6:15pm an additional $1 per minute fee applies.
-
Q: How much is Vacation Care? +-A:
Vacation Care is $60 for the day before any CCS reductions.
Additional costs for activities & excursions are listed on the Vacation Care Program, and are charged to the account along with this fee.
Once bookings are made they are final, and unfortunately we can only refund the initial cost ($60). Additional excursion/incursion costs will still be charged along with a $10 late cancellation fee unless a medical certificate is provided. This is due to staffing arrangements, catering, bus bookings and excursion/incursion fees.

Q: What do I need to pack for my child for Vacation Care? +-A:
In Vacation Care, students must bring a hat to ensure they can play outside, on days with UV rating predicted to be 3 and above. Due to health reasons we cannot allow hat sharing or provide spare hats. Children without a hat are required to apply sunscreen and play in shaded areas.
Also ensure that your child has an adequate recess and lunch packed, as we only provide afternoon tea. Please read what is scheduled for each day to ensure your child can participate in the day's events. This includes appropriate enclosed shoes only, tops that covers children’s shoulders; and for days with water activities, bathers, change of clothes and plastic bag for wet items.
-
Q: Are the students allowed to bring their own personal electronics to Vacation Care? +-A:
We provide gaming consoles and iPads for children’s use. Personal Electronics (iPads, phones, computers) are not permitted at Vacation Care unless it is requested on a specific day.
-
Q: Can I book in my child after the booking date? +-A:
Yes, but we cannot ensure that there will be positions available for your child. In this case, they will be placed on a waiting list until there is a cancellation. A $5 late fee applies for each child each day for these bookings.
