Venture Club

The Venture Club, which is available to students from Years 7-12, offers outdoor education experiences with a suggested program for the year. There is a student committee which runs an evening meeting with a guest speaker and reports on trips once a term. Students can use trips with the Venture Club to complete sections of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award.

VENTURE CLUB PROGRAM 2008

MEETINGS

Meetings are held once every term on Friday evenings in the Theatrette starting at
7:30 pm, with a BBQ dinner before the meeting at 6:30pm near the Music Centre.

23 May  - Guest speaker talking about Camp America
22 August - Guest speaker talking about their Cycling Trip
31 October - Guest speaker talking about Outward Bound course

July 6-10 – Senior Bushwalk
September 13-14 - Pulteney Orienteering Team Challenge
September 28-October 2 – Glenelg River Trip
October 25-26 – Canoe Challenge
December 10-20 – New Zealand Trip

Meetings are held in the Biology Lab.

The main fundraiser for the year is a Wine Tasting Night in Wyatt Hall on 16 August.
