Pulteney Grammar School

Academic Undertakings (B1-B5)

B1. DEADLINES POLICY – “one ninety"

It is important that Pulteney students learn to manage their time in a responsible way such that deadlines set for work to be handed in for assessment are met.  Students should not see deadline dates as being ‘flexible’.  Those who submit work on time must not be disadvantaged by those seeking extra time.  It is also SSABSA policy that late work should receive no credit.

B4. POLICY ON STUDENT INTERNET ACCESS AND E-MAIL

Pulteney provides students with access to the Internet, as a privilege rather than a right, so as to enhance learning.  As with other resources, the school attempts to control its use.  The purpose of this policy is to help students recognise what is acceptable use of Internet resources in the school environment and to avoid mis-use of on-line services, including copyright transgressions.
